Mrs. Bird has been teaching with the Sparta School District for 13 years.  She has always taught 4th grade in the district.  Before Meadowview was built, she taught at Southside Elementary School.  Mrs. Bird earned her teaching degree at UW-La Crosse.  A couple of years ago she obtained her Master's in Education degree (MEPD) through UWL.

Ellyn Thibodeau has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, grades one through eight, with minors in Psychology and Special Education. She also has her Master's Degree in Education through U W LaCrosse.  She has been teaching in the Sparta School District for over 20 years.  She has taught in many of the grades but prefers Fourth Grade.

Mrs. Sullivan has a master's degree as a  K-12 Reading Specialist as well as a bachelor's degree in Elem. Ed. Gr. 1-8.  She taught 20 years at Leon School before coming to Meadowview Intermediate.  She has experience teaching grades 3-5.  She taught Sparta Summer School for 18 years including classes in drama, reading, and math.  She has served as a member of the Reading/Lang. Arts Curriculum Committee since 1984.  She is a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and Midwest Reading Council.  She has developed a community partnership with Rolling Hills Nursing Home with an "Adopted Grandparent" Program pairing residents and students for many years.
