Meet the Fourth/Fifth Grade Looping Teachers

   

Mr. Pederson has been teaching in the Sparta School District since 1996. He taught kindergarten for seven years prior to moving to Meadowview in 2004. His degrees include a Bachelor of Science (1996) and Master in Educational Professional Development (2000) from UW- LaCrosse. Further education has taken Eric to Australia on a summer teaching program (2000) and as a People to People primary delegation area for the La Crosse area touring Europe and Australia (2001-present). His interests include cooperative group learning, science, social studies, and higher leveled learning projects.

Mrs. Mohrbacher has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Viterbo University.  She has been teaching in the Sparta School District since 2003 and before that she taught a year in first grade outside the district.  In the past, she has supervised safety patrol for fifth grade students, worked in the after hours tutoring program, and co-chaired the Reading/ Language Arts Committee.  She enjoys teaching all subject areas especially reading.  She also coaches 7th grade softball at the middle school.  On the weekends, Mrs. Mohrbacher likes to go boating, bicycling, and hiking with her family and friends.

Mrs. Guns

A little about me, your teacher……  I grew up in a town near Green Bay, called Howard.  Howard is on the other side of Wisconsin.  I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay.  I am married and have three children, Haydn is 5, Ella is 3, and Nate is 7 months!!!!!  I have many hobbies.  My favorite of course is spending time with my family.  We love to hike, bike, and swim, just about anything outdoors.  I also love sports like basketball, volleyball, and softball.  Being from the Green Bay area, I love to cheer on the Packers.  Go Pack go!!!!!!!

Mr. Schwarz received a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master's degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin in La Crosse. He has taught in the Sparta School District for over twenty-five years. He is currently the science club advisor, and enjoys teaching all areas of the curriculum. In his free time he enjoys outdoor activities such as golf, fishing, and hunting.

Mrs. Luckasson has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse. She has an art minor. Teaching experience includes a first grade position at Leon Elementary, and two years as the elementary and secondary Art Education teacher in Cashton. More recently, she has been teaching fourth and fifth grade at Lawrence - Lawson and currently at Meadowview Intermediate School. Areas of interest in Reading - Language Arts include guided reading and 6+1 Traits Writing. Mrs. Luckasson is presently in a looping classroom. She has 18 years of teaching experience with 16 having been in the Sparta School District.

Mr. Stoeckly received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1997 from Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin and his Master's Degree in Educational Technology from Northern Arizona University.    After graduating from Carroll College he moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he taught 3rd and 4th grade for nine years. This will be Mr. Stoeckly's 2nd year teaching in the Sparta School District.  Along with teaching Mr. Stoeckly also coaches 7th grade football and boy's basketball at the middle school level.  In his spare time, Mr. Stoeckly, enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, boating, and watching the Green Bay Packers.
